The San Diego Bankruptcy Forum is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation founded in 1989, and located in San Diego, California. SDBF is affiliated with the California Bankruptcy Forum, along with six other local forums: Orange County, Los Angeles, Bay Area, Sacramento, Inland Empire, and Central California. The goal of the organization is to provide educational support and networking opportunities for its members. Members of SDBF are automatically entitled to membership in the California Bankruptcy Forum, and will receive the California Bankruptcy Journal, a quarterly publication of the California Bankruptcy Forum. 

The Bylaws of SDBF provide for the annual election of directors for staggered three year terms.
